The following data privacy statement informs you about the handling of personal data at Medical Language Services. It refers to this website as well as to my other activities following an enquiry (reply to enquiry, preparation of offer, provision of service).<\/p>\n

This website does not contain a contact form. You can contact me via the email address provided. In this case, I will save the personal data transmitted by e-mail and any file attachments, which in some cases may also contain personal data.<\/p>\n

Personal data are data with which you can be personally identified.<\/p>\n

It is recommended to encrypt file attachments containing personal data and other documents that are subject to secrecy before sending them, as data transmission on the Internet can have security gaps.<\/p>\n

What is your data used for?<\/em><\/p>\n

All data will be treated confidentially and will only be used to process your request. I will collect, process and store this data in order to respond to your inquiry, to submit a quote and to prepare and execute the services you have requested, as well as for accounting, documentation and, if necessary, data analysis purposes. There is no link to the access data mentioned below.<\/p>\n

Your customer data will not be passed on to third parties. However, attachments can be passed on to service providers who support me in fulfilling my services and with whom I have concluded a non-disclosure agreement. I will ask for your separate approval for that in advance.<\/p>\n

Data integrity<\/em><\/p>\n

I secure my website and other systems by technical and organisational measures against loss, destruction, access, modification or distribution of your data by unauthorised persons. Despite regular checks, however, complete protection against all risks is not possible.<\/p>\n

This website uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https:\/\/” in the address line of the browser and the lock symbol.<\/p>\n

Right to information<\/em><\/p>\n

You can object to the storage of your personal data at any time. All you need to do is send me an informal email. Mandatory statutory provisions \u2013 in particular retention periods \u2013 remain unaffected.<\/p>\n

The collected customer data will be deleted after the business relationship has ended. Legal retention periods remain unaffected.<\/p>\n

In the event of breaches of data protection law, the person concerned has a right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority. The responsible supervisory authority for data protection issues is the Regional Data Protection Officer of the Federal State of Hesse.<\/p>\n

Medical Language Services, on the basis of its legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of the online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 point f GDPR uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google LLC (\u201cGoogle\u201d). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offer by users is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.<\/p>\n

Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee to comply with European data protection law (https:\/\/www.privacyshield.gov\/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).<\/p>\n

Google will use this information on my behalf to evaluate the use of my online offer by users and to compile reports on the activities within this online offer. Pseudonymous user profiles can be created from the processed data.<\/p>\n

I only use Google Analytics with IP anonymization enabled. Your IP address will previously be reduced by Google within Member States of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.<\/p>\n

The data sent by this website and linked to cookies, user IDs or advertising IDs are automatically deleted after 14 months. Data whose retention period has been reached is automatically deleted once a month.<\/p>\n

My website uses functions of the XING network. The provider is XING AG, Dammtorstrasse 29-32, 20354 Hamburg, Germany.<\/p>\n

Every time a page containing XING functions is called up, a connection is established to XING servers. To my knowledge, personal data will not be stored. In particular, no IP addresses are stored an no usage behaviour is evaluated.<\/p>\n
